One of NYC’s largest wine stores. It’s a well organized shop; the vast range of wines are by arranged by region and price. They carry a large selection of wines from all regions; kosher wines and organic wines available; and a great source for sake.

The shelf talkers are all staff-written. There is always a display of the “Top Ten under $10,” as well as Staff Picks to help navigate the vast offerings.

Wine curious and enthusiasts can check out the free tastings (grouped by region or type), which  are held in their kitchen-classroom setting (Wed-Fri 6-8pm, Sat 3-5pm, Sun 2-5pm).  They also offer a monthly wine club, options range from wines for novices to serious oenophiles. Free shipping throughout most of New York State (minimum purchase required, I believe).
