Robert Sietsema says he was impressed by the inexpensive wine list, saying that Caliu is ”a place that turns the modern tapas formula on its head – by selling the booze cheap enough that you’ll probably stay for an entire meal.”  However, he was also quoted as saying he found some of the servings too small, given the price tags.
