Conveniently located one stop from Grand Central, it is a frequent stop for local residents on their way home, as well as a destination for those who want to enjoy a glass of wine after an afternoon at P.S.1 or the local galleries. Located just off the 7 train platform, step into this sexy spot, affiliated with popular bistro Tournesol a few doors down.

In addition to the extensive list of 40 wines by the glass from all over the world, there is a cheese selection from Artisanal, fresh local oysters and charcuterie.  Continuing a familial tradition, the bar serves carafes of country wines from southwest France. Though its devotion is mainly to French bottles, the wine list is surprisingly Old World & New World in scope along with many lesser-known vintages.

The bartenders will gladly inform you of what’s what in easy terms and descriptions.

Pair a few cheeses with your wine and stay a while. Live jazz, oysters, amazing selections of cheese and olives – all fit into a nice Parisian vibe.  Word is chefs and sommeliers from Daniel and Le Bernadin often stop by late night to enjoy the live jazz.
