Williamsburg Wine Bars
232 N 12 St. 11211
Cross Streets: Driggs and Roebling St.
American/ European tapas bar offering a diverse (and ambitious) menu and a fantastic selection of wines. More info on venue and wines to come.
Nestled in the menu of a wide-ranging but well-priced list of small plates are wood-fired thin-crust pizzas. The pies are all named for chart-topping tunes, like Let the Good Times Roll (mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, sweet and hot sausages) and Heart of Gold (mozzarella, spinach, artichokes, mushrooms, peppers, tomato sauce). The rest of the tapas menu includes items such as pumpkin ravioli, a hummus plate and garlic shrimp—along with sandwiches and salads. Most ingredients are organic or natural from sustainable sources.
Moomba seems perfectly positioned to accommodate larger groups looking for a family-style meal sharing experience.
