A good spot for wine geeks to go with their beer buddies since Von has many brews along with the wines. Von feels like some family-owned tavern in Provence; with about two dozen wines by the glass (a glass of Portuguese Vinho Verde at $7 is a good bet) and a savvy selection of hefty Eurobeers (Chimay, Duvel, etc.). Von has a cool vibe to it. It’s a casual, chill local spot and a nice place to stop in and have a reasonably priced drink while enjoying the varied E. Village crowd. It gets crowded early even on weeknights. Dog friendly.
